as to whether men experience menopause is a contentious
and debatable issue. Is male menopause a reality or a

resulting to body temperate changes. Men who have a
missing testicle due to prostate cancer have a high
likelihood of getting night sweats to the reduction in
the amount of testosterone. Men experiencing Andropuse
have to endure high levels of sweat during the night.
This causes disruption of their sleep which in turn leads
to insomnia. Men perspire and get hot flushes which are a
disturbing and uncomfortable condition. The frequency and
intensity differ depending on an individual. However, on
average the flashes can last over an hour. The night
sweats and flushes can bring about other complications
such as nausea, irritation and an increased heart beat.
In men the night sweats conditions can last for about
5-10 years.

Remedies for night
sweats in men.
The best way
to manage night sweats is to engage in regular exercise.
Proper diet can also help to reduce the night sweats,
consuming fluids and fruits with increase the juices in
your body causing a cooling effect. Men who experience
night sweats should refrain from taking alcohol, spicy
foods, caffeine and red wine. Smoking can also aggregate
the condition and thus should be avoided. When sleeping,
it’s advisable to wear cotton clothes that will absorb
the sweat in order to decrease the discomfort. At night
you can apply a wet cloth on your fore head to help you
to cool off. Taking a bath just before you sleep will
help to decrease your temperature. It’s very important to
consume a lot of water when you experience the hot flush,
this will help to keep your body hydrated. The nausea
will also subside if you take fluids. You can also ensure
that you keep the room temperature cool by opening the
windows or by using air conditioning. You can also place
thin magnets over the vents to ensure that your room
receives more cold air. Night flashes are manageable and
it’s not a life threatening condition one should learn to
cope with the condition as there is no known cure for
it.
